Here is what we did today:
Choice Time: We went outside for Choice Time. We are loving this nice weather! Also, the children are really enjoying the buckeyes! They continue to find them like they are Easter eggs, pretend to make food with them, roll them on the ramps, and play with them in the sand box. For such a simple, free thing that we picked up off the ground, we are sure getting a big return for our efforts!
Circle Time: We passed around some ladybugs in a viewing container for the children to look at. We read 2 Halloween stories - 5 Little Pumpkins and Halloween Colors. These were 2 simple books. I read the 5 Little Pumpkins through by myself one time and then read it again and asked the children to read it to me. Lyndsey helped us count 6 bones out of the Mystery Bag.
Snack Time: Lyndsey brought yogurt, graham crackers and milk for snack. Thank you Lyndsey!
Center Time: All of the centers were open and there was painting at the easel. Several children spent some time looking at the ladybugs again and picking corn off of the cob.
No pictures today - we got busy playing and I ran out of time. Have a great weekend!
