January 31, 2017 Tuesday

Here is what we did today:

Choice Time:  We gave the children the choice between drawing on construction paper with an ice cube and playing the game, "Musical Hugs."

Circle Time:  We read the story, "I Love You So Much!"  Ask your children to show you how Lola's cheeks puffed out with her special words.  And then ask them to tell you what Lola's special words were.  (I Love You!  I Love You!  I Love You So Much!"  Nolan helped us count 11 bouncy balls in the mystery bag.

Snack:  Nolan brought granola bars and milk for snack.  Thank you Nolan!

Center Time:  All of the centers were open and there was painting a mural with fly swatters on the table.

January 30, 2017 Monday

Here is what we did today:

Choice Time:  We gave the children two choices - playing the "Musical Hugs" game or drawing with an ice cube on paper.

Circle Time:  We read the story, "I Love You So Much!"  Ask the children to show you how the main character in the story puffed out her cheeks with her special words.  And then, ask them what her special words were.  (I Love You!  I Love You!  I Love You So Much!)  Ren helped us count 11 bouncy balls in the Mystery Bag.

Snack:  Ren brought bananas, Scooby Snacks, and milk for snack.  Thank you Ren!

Center Time:  All of the centers were open and the children helped paint a mural for Valentine's day.
While we were busy, the fire alarms were being tested.  It was VERY loud!

January 26, 2017 Thursday

Here is what we did today:

Choice Time:  The 3 choices today were cars on tracks, magna doodles, and  lacing cards.

Circle Time:  We read the story, "The Wheels on the Bus."  This was a sound book that the children seemed to enjoy.  After we were done reading, each child got to take a turn pushing one of the buttons on the book.  Meier helped us count 13 pom poms in the Mystery Bag.

Snack:  Meier brought muffins and milk for snack.  Thank you Meier!

Center Time:  All of the centers were open and there was painting at the easel.

January 25, 2017 Wednesday

Here is what we did today:

Choice Time:  We had cars and tracks and magna doodles available during Choice Time.

Circle Time:  We read the book, "The Wheels On The Bus."  This was a book with sound buttons that the children enjoyed listening to.  When we finished the book, each child was given a chance to push one of the buttons on their own.  Maysen helped us count 13 pompoms in the Mystery Bag.

Snack Time:  Maysen brought applesauce and milk for snack.  Thank you Maysn!

Center Time:  All of the centers were open and there was painting at the easel.

Here is what we did today:

Choice Time:  We played as a team on the parachute.

Circle Time:  We read the story, "We Are A Team."  Lyndsey helped us count 12 clothespins in the Mystery Bag.

Snack Time:  Lyndsey brought Ritz Crackers and Cheese and Juice for snack.  Thank you Lyndsey!

Center Time:  All of the centers were open and there was painting at the easel.
