March 30, 2017 Thursday

Here is what we did today:

Choice Time:  We played with balls today.  The children could throw nerf balls at hoops or they could use their fingers to flick squishy balls at a target wall.

Circle Time:  We read the story, "What Will Fat Cat Sit On?"  Ask the children what the fat cat ended up sitting on at the end of the story - a chair!  Isaac helped us count 11 bouncy balls in the mystery bag. 

Snack Time:  Isaac brought goldfish and juice for snack.  Thank you Isaac!

Center Time:  All of the centers were open.  There was an opportunity to paint if the  children wanted to give it a try.

Pizza Certificates went home in the backpacks today.  Enjoy!

March 29, 2017 Wednesday

Here is what we did today:

Choice Time:  We played with balls today.  The children could either throw nerf balls at hoops or flick little squishy balls at a target.

Circle Time:  We read the story, "What Will The Fat Cat Sit On?"  Ask the children what the fat cat ended up sitting on at the end of the story - a chair!  Kenedy helped us count 11 bouncy balls in the Mystery Bag.

Snack Time:  Kenedy brought snack today - cheese/crackers and juice.  Thank you Kenedy!

Center Time:  All of the centers were open and there was painting at the easel.

Important papers went home today.  Please call with questions.

March 28, 2017 Tuesday

Here is what we did today:

Choice Time:  Our activities focused on playing with wind.  The children could try to float a streamer using the wind made by a fan.  OR they could try to move pom poms from the wind made from bath tub toy fish, balloon pumpers, or fireplace bellows.

Circle Time:  We read the book, "Like A Windy Day."  Ask your children some things that can be moved by the wind.  (sailboats, dandelions, baby spiders, kites, etc)  Graham helped us count 12 shells in the mystery bag.

Snack:  Graham brought applesauce and milk for snack.  Thank you Graham!

Center Time:  All of the centers were open.  There was a special painting project using the wind from a hair dryer to blow paint.  These will be displayed in our hallway.

March 27, 2017 Monday

Here is what we did today:

Choice Time:  We played with wind inside today.  We used a fan to blow tissue paper streamers.  And we used bath toys, balloon pumpers, and a fire place bellows to blow pom poms around.

Circle Time:  We read the story, "Like A Windy Day!"  We discussed things that can be blown by the wind afterwards - kites, hats, umbrellas, sailboats...  Jade helped us count 13 shells in the Mystery Bag.

Snack:  Jade brought goldfish and juice for snack.  Thank you Jade!

Center Time:  All of the centers were open.  There was a special art project using the wind from a hair blower to blow water color paint around on a paper - if they wanted to give it a try.

Here is what we did today:

Choice Time:  We allowed the children to choose between airplanes and catch-a-ball-cones.

Circle Time:  We read the story, "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom!"  We said the alphabet together when we were done.  Grace helped us count 13 cars in the Mystery Bag.

Snack Time:  Grace brought apples for snack.  Thank you Grace!

Center Time:  All of the centers were open and there was painting at the easel.

Here is what we did today:

Choice Time:  We allowed the children to choose between 3 different activities - catch-a-ball cones, alphabet flash cards, or flying paper airplanes.

Circle Time:  We read the story, "Chika, Chika, Boom, Boom."  Afterwards, we said the alphabet together.  Jay helped us count 13 cars in the Mystery Bag.

Snack:  Jay brought goldfish crackers and juice for snack.  Thank you Jay!

Center Time:  All of the centers were open and there was painting at the easel.
