April 6, 2017 Thursday

Here is what we did today:

Choice/Circle Time:  Sgt. Nelson from the Bettendorf Police Department came and talked to us about staying safe and how police officers help us to do this in our community. Ask your children to tell you some of the things he talked about - wearing a seat belt/using a car seat while in the car, wearing a helmet while on a bike or scooter, calling 911.......         There were 13 plastic teddy bears in the Mystery Bag.

Snack Time:  The preschool provided Lucky Charms and juice for snack and asked the children to spoon their own snack onto their napkins and then pass the snack bowl to their neighbor.  We celebrated Freya's birthday today with brownies and the Happy Birthday song.  Happy Birthday Freya!

Center Time:  All of the centers were open.  The beads and pvc funnels were changed to be eye droppers/water/and cotton ball clouds.  The children were to transfer water using the eye droppers to the cotton balls to make it rain.  (Something that I have had enough of lately but oh well - 'tis the season.)

Pictures are below.  Have a great day!
