Here is what we did today:
Choice Time: Sgt. Nelson from the Bettendorf Public Police Force came and talked to us today about safety and how police officers are people who are helpers in our community. Ask your children some things he talked about - crossing the street, using a car seat, 911, the name of the police dog is Ringo...He gave us some souvenirs as well that each child took home in their backpacks. We counted 13 plastic bears in the mystery bag.
Snack Time: We had Lucky Charms for snack today that the children had to scoop themselves and pass to their neighbor on the right. Apple Juice was the drink. We also celebrated Kenedy's birthday! Happy Birthday Kenedy!
Center Time: All of the centers were open and there was painting at the easel. The plastic beads and funnels were replaced with eye droppers and water for the children to make "rain." (Something I personally have had enough of but oh well - 'tis the season!)
Pictures are below. Have a great day!
