Choice Time: We talked about the meaning of the word opposite. We allowed the children to choose to either play the game Jump the River - backwards or to color a picture - under the table.
Circle Time: We read the book, "Yes Day!" In the story, a boy celebrated a day in which his parents could only answer any questions he asked them with YES! This caused the boy to be able to have pizza for breakfast, choose sugary cereal at the grocery store and have a friend over for dinner, among other things. Colin helped us count 5 plastic cars in the Mystery Bag.
Snack: Colin brought carrots, Teddy Grahams, and milk for snack. Thank you Colin!
Center Time: All of the centers were open and there was painting at the easel.
Things went home in the back pack today- Family Focus Magazines.
