Here is what we did today:
Choice Time: We discussed what the word opposite means. We allowed the children to choose between drawing on the opposite side of the table and playing the game, Jump the River going the opposite way.
Circle Time: We read the story, "Yes Day!" In the story a young boy can ask his mom and dad any question and they have to say yes. Because of this, he was able to eat pizza for breakfast, choose sugary cereal, and have a friend over for supper, among other things. Brooke helped us count 5 plastic cars in the Memory Bag.
Snack Time: Brooke brought Club Crackers, Cheese and Grape Juice for snack. Thank you Brooke!
Center Time: All of the centers were open and there was painting at the easel.
Important papers went home in the backpacks today - book orders. Call if you have questions!
