Choice Time: We gave the children a choice between wax paper skating and cutting string with scissors. All of the children tried both activities today.
Circle Time: We read the story, "Blue Kangaroo." In the story, a girl has a favorite blue kangaroo that gets forgotten when she receives other stuffed animals as birthday presents. When the girl's baby brother starts playing with Blue Kangaroo, she decides to share the new animals in exchange for Blue Kangaroo back. Everyone was happy in the end! Jackson helped us count 10 pennies in the Mystery Bag.
Snack Time: Jackson brought graham crackers and juice for snack. Thank you Jackson!
Center Time: All of the centers were open and there were a few changes in some of the areas for the children to explore - a simple machines station, a birthday cake, some shopping carts and some new floor puzzles.
