Choice Time: The children could choose between doing an obstacle course with bubble wrap or playing with stuffed little mice and pretend mouse houses.
Circle Time: We read the story, "Splat the Cat." It is a story about a cat named Splat who, on his first day of school packs his pet mouse named Seymore. This causes some wild things to happen at school but everyone is friends by the end of the story. Ask your children how Splat felt about going to school at the beginning of the story as well as at the end. (Worried/ Excited) We counted 11 legos in the Mystery Bag.
Snack Time: We spread cream cheese on our own bagels and drank juice. We celebrated Grace's birthday with birthday brownies. Happy Birthday Grace!
Center Time: All of the centers were open and there was painting at the easel.
Remember to bring in all Valentines the beginning of our next class. The party starts at 10:30. All are welcome!
